The Eco-Mission
At Si Como No Resort & Spa we want to maintain the Magic of Nature. We will be able to accomplish this by promoting the coexistence in harmony between our guests, our working team, our neighbors and our natural surroundings. Throughout the hotel is the promotion of environmentally sound practices and the surroundings. We will control and diminish the impact of the hotel on the environment. We will promote these practices among our fellow competitors and neighboring companies and we will work together with non-profit organizations and other institutions, with similar objectives to educate and promote sustainability, protect our natural resources, and benefite the community we share.

	We are commited to control and reduce the impact of the hotel on our socio economical environment.
	We pledge to become ambassadors of the conservation efforts on for we believe within our community, our families, and our departments in the work place.

Action Plan
	To evaluate the condition of the hotel and the dairy environmental impacts of the hotel openations.
	Establish the improvements that the hotel requires to rduce its impact on the environment.
	Launch an action plan by the Green Committee.
	Establish controls and monitoring tools.
	Implement changes progressively with regular reports.
	Evaluate the achievements on a consistant basis.
	Study post operational adjustments.
	Write an operational manual for the hotel.

Policies on the Green Committee
We believe that the sustainability of tourism is the philosophy that leads our work. The following policies are established as guidelines for our team, on their daily endeavors

We wish to coexist in harmony with nature, with ourselves and with our guests in order to preserve our natural resources for our benefit and future generations.

	Diminish the amount of resources required to function "What we waste today, we will need to pay for tomorrow."
	Reject products that are harmful to the environment".
	Recycle materials and supplies.
	Recycle waste. One man's waste is another man's treasure.
	We will stay alent in order to stop any illegal situation or anomalies that could threat our environment on property and in our community.
