This tour departs from the hotel at 5:30 pm, just before nightfall. Each participant is given a flashlight as we enter a 1 km long hotel trail.
Our guide will discuss the uniqueness of a this nocturnal habitat on the cloud forest revealing that most nocturnal species are very small, especially the great variety of insects you will observe, as well as frogs, snakes, owls and other nocturnal mammals. This is a slowly paced tour to enable the greatest opportunity to observe the wildlife close-up and discover many characteristics never seen during the daylight hours.

Recommended: Comfortable hiking shoes, plus a light jacket or poncho.

Green Hotels of Costa Rica Members & Tour Operators do not refund for unused services due the last minute guest cancellations or no-shows. On cancellations more than 12 hours prior departure a 25% fee will be deducted for administration expenses. Otherwise you will be charged the full tour price.
