This tour departs from a stable located nearby on Finca Julieta, the picturesque dairy and cattle farm of the Carazo's who raise the French Normandy dairy breed. After a few minutes on the road we enter the farm through the Cameroon grass pastures, where you will observe the cattle and learn about the dairy process. For those who like to rwim, we can visit the Balsa River as an option. The pastures afford a great opportunity for birdwatching on a trail adjacent to the reserve. A scenic overlook reveals a view of the Arenal Volcano and the northern Caribbean plains.

Green Hotels of Costa Rica Members & Tour Operators do not refund for unused services due the last minute guest cancellations or no-shows. On cancellations more than 12 hours prior departure a 25% fee will be deducted for administration expenses. Otherwise you will be charged the full tour price.
